Holiday Storage Tips

  1. Keep your lights nice and tidy. Don’t just throw them into a box only to find yourself in a tangled mess of lights that may or may not work next year. Bundle each set of lights and be sure to throw out any that don’t work.
  2. Use bins and padding to organize and protect fragile decorative items like ornaments. Store the bins on shelves vs. stacking to keep things from getting crushed.
  3. Keep your holiday items together within your storage unit to make it easier to pull everything from and put everything back into storage.
  4. Are your kids getting smarter about where Santa hides his presents until Christmas? Hide their gifts in your self storage unit and they’ll be sure to be nice vs. naughty until Santa visits.
