Happy New YearA new year equals a new opportunity for a new you…or at least, a new way to do things. Resolutions can be quite intimidating to tackle, so here are a few simple things you can do that will help you stay organized, professional and healthy in 2015.

  • Stay organized.
Do you loan things to friends and family and then forget who took them? Easy solution: snap a picture of the person with the item they’re borrowing and put it in a folder on your phone. Voila…never forget where your DVD of your fave movie is again.
  • Look professional.
If you wear button up, collared shirts, but the collars are always pointing where they shouldn’t, here’s a quick way to make them look pressed: use a hair flat iron as a collar iron. Done & done!
  • See clearly.
Even after a carwash, headlight covers can look hazy. Use a bit of toothpaste on a rag and rub it onto the headlight. They’ll go from translucent to sparkling clean. You’re welcome!
  • Protect it.
Put a square of cardboard inside a ziplock bag and keep it in your desk drawer. It’s perfect for protecting small important documents from creases or rain during transport (think: checks or photos).
  • Stay hydrated.
Staying hydrated makes your skin clearer, your eyes brighter and your mind sharp. No excuses this year! Buy a clear water bottle (BPA free, of course) and use a permanent marker to mark your daily water intake by time. Each mark represents how much water you need to drink by what time of day…by the end of the day, you’ll have consumed the recommended daily water intake. Easy peasy!

Have some New Year Life Hacks to make 2015 stellar? We’d love to hear them!
