The Lock Up Self Storage opened their newest Florida facility on October 8, 2013. This newly constructed facility is located at 27661 Tamiami Trail, conveniently situated between Bonita Springs and North Naples, just off the main thoroughfare, Tamiami Trail. Neighboring residents and businesses, including the surrounding areas of Fort Meyers Beach, San Carlos Park, Estero, and the Vineyards, are assured that their self storage experience at the Bonita Springs Lock Up will not only meet their expectations of a Lock Up Self Storage, but go beyond them.
Construction of the Bonita Springs Lock Up was completed last summer and is the sixth addition to The Lock Up’s locations in Florida. “We built this facility from the ground up, keeping in mind the needs of the Floridian tenant,” says Andrea Carnes, Vice President of Operations for The Lock Up Self Storage. “There are four stories with over 600 climate controlled interior and drive up units, carpeted units and hallways. Because Florida weather can be somewhat unpredictable, we have a covered loading area for tenants so that they’re protected while moving in. We even have a separate building for storing boats and recreational vehicles for those tenants that require it.”

Located next to the Imperial River, the Bonita Springs provides a unique solution for tenants that enjoy the water. With ceilings that are 10’ high, tenants can store fishing gear, canoes, kayaks and paddles with ease. There is a public boat launch right next door to the Bonita Springs Lock Up so all tenants have to do is stop into their unit, grab their gear and head out for a great day on the river.
The Lock Up takes the protection of tenant’s items very seriously and the Bonita Springs Lock Up is no exception. Electronic coded access ensures that only tenants have access to the property and storage units while a 24-hour security camera monitoring system keeps a watchful eye day and night.
