The Lock Up Self Storage is at the forefront when it comes to merging technology and self storage. We previously launched an app for Apple and Android users to organize and store their Lock Up Self Storage unit information; now we’re proud to announce new features in our app that will streamline users’ online experience as well as manage their actual storage units.
We are introducing the ability to manage all bill pay and automatic payments directly from the app. Additionally, users will be able to make any account updates from within the app. This provides our tenants with flexibility when it comes to managing their Lock Up accounts. Whether a tenant is unable to get to their desktop computer at home or they’re out on the go, our tenants will be able to take care of their Lock Up business from their iOS or Android device.
While this is a huge time saver for many, we didn’t stop there. Another beneficial addition to our app is the ability to take photos of items within their storage unit and add notes. This will allow our tenants to not only log what items are stored in which units, but also help to cut down on “search time” once inside their unit. Imagine being able to simply pull up The Lock Up app and look at pictures and notes you made to find out which sealed up box contains the very thing you need.
The app, created by Ethervision, has enabled Lock Up tenants to keep track of which facilities their units are located, the gate codes for each location, as well as the unit numbers. Additionally, it has a very useful “tap to call” feature that will automatically call the tenant’s Lock Up facility. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, is optimized for iPhone 5 and requires iOS 6.0 or later.
The new updates have created a truly dynamic app for our tenants that will help them to get organized and get on with their busy lives.
